Memorizing Instead of Understanding
Schools often reward memorization because it is easy to test, but real intelligence comes from understanding. Memorization allows students to pass exams, but it does not build the ability to think, adapt, or apply knowledge in new situations. Over time, this creates a gap between performance in school and capability in real life. The issue is not the student—it is what the system chooses to measure.
